Lutherans are Christians. They confess Jesus as the Savior and the Triune God as the one and only God.
Lutherans are a biblically based denomination meaning all our teachings come from the Bible alone.
Lutherans believe people are saved by grace alone, through faith in Christ Jesus, alone.

What do you believe about God?
The Bible and Lutherans teach that there is only one true God. This God is invisible, holy, eternal, and has all power and wisdom. In the Bible God reveals himself as three persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. This is why he is called “Triune.”

What do you believe about Jesus?
We believe that Jesus Christ is the Savior of everyone. He became man to redeem all people. He lived a perfect life by keeping the law of God for us. He died on the cross to pay the price for everyone’s sin, then rose again and ascended to heaven.

What do you believe about salvation?
We believe in the saving message of the gospel. The message of the gospel is that a loving God sent Jesus Christ to die and rise again to take away the sins of all people. God gives eternal life and salvation to all those who believe in the gospel promises.
We cannot earn our own salvation by doing good works or making a choice to believe. Salvation is a free gift from God.

What do you believe about the Bible?
We believe that the Bible is the true word of God, inspired by the Holy Spirit. This means that God gave the writers the exact thoughts and words they were to write. We believe that every statement in the Bible is the truth. It is the only guideline for the faith and life of Christians. We read and study it as food for our souls.

At Living Stone, we practice Member Communion. This means that we’d like to have a conversation with you before we commune together. We believe communion is an expression of our oneness in faith, and we want you to be able to express this unity only after you’ve learned what it is that we believe. Contact Pastor Jeremy with your questions.

Everyone at Living Stone started with Groundwork, Living Stone’s 12-week Bible basics course. This typically looks like a small group meeting with Pastor Belter in a casual setting. In Groundwork, Pastor Belter covers topics like how we’re saved, what the Bible is and how we got it, baptism, and holy communion.
This is a safe place to ask honest questions and get Biblical answers.

Living Stone believes that baptism along with the Word of God are the tools God has given us to bring people to faith and bring them the forgiveness of sins. Scripture teaches us Baptism is for all, even infants.
Our Groundwork class has a whole lesson where we look at all the Bible passages about Baptism to learn about this wonderful gift from God.
If you or your children have never been baptized, contact PastorJeremy to learn more about Baptism and scheduling a time to be baptized. You don’t have to be a member to be baptized.
Designed for the dinner table, this tool keeps you connected to Jesus and to your family.
